Getting out of an art slump by only way I know: painting a brutalized Tristan.

I mean, it's not like I have been drawing him really often the last few days. (Hint, hint: new comic project. Stay tuned until I have built up my buffer.)
Painting Tristan's hair is my favourite part of everything, though. It's relaxing and the contrasts are so much fun.
Regarding the blood: I wanted it to really pop, so I made it bright. I love it.
The neck bruises are inspired by AnnieFliesAway because a loooot of her characters have neck scars.

And Tristan... I have a part of his life in mind for this, but it's only a possible future. I have been listening to Schuld (Guilt) by Letzte Instanz while drawing it, and let's say... Tristan's side of the civil war is to blame for a whole lot of shit.

I really should start a count how often I draw him with blue shading/bruises/a bleeding nose..
