A "volcanine" (thanks to Kuro for that!)
she says "E komo mai" - Welcome to you!
at least i hope I got that right.
Based on a hawaiian lore about the godess Pele, it contained lava, foxes and a beautiful Lady and...I just could not resist!
She was an Standee for Eurofurence 2013

I have another concept in mind that's inspired by this lore, not sure how to make it work though,

Wow, this is really amazing! I love how you made the lava cracks look, and the feathery look of the fire-tail. The pronounced lines on the edges feel art nouveau to me.
