The only thing I love more than cool autumn afternoons is summer thunderstorms. In fact, it's one of the few things I like about summer (which normally plagues me with heat, humidity, and scary parasitic insects ;-; ). The low rumble in the distance and darkening sky in the middle of the day is a sign for this little gryphon to snuggle up in her giant, magic, mossy Catalpa and wait for the light show to begin.
