The only thing I love more than wire spirals are silver wire spirals on dark wings :3 I picked up some small seed beads to try something a little new with this wing necklace and went ahead and strung some to hang from the wings too. This is based on a raven's wing shape (and very loosely on the color shimmer in their feathers), but it's certainly more of a fantasy design.
Made from 7-oz leather with a 2-oz leather top layer, hand hand-painted in acrylics.

It seems like all I can think to say each time I see one of your pieces is, "oooh, the colors!" I absolutely love the rich palettes you use, and this piece in particular tickles my iridescence addiction.
