Tessa is a thresher shark hailing from the Auckland area, and has been one of the best-known fighters in the Zoologic Boxing Association (ZBA) since the mid-2000s. She fights using a slugger/outboxer mixed style, toying with her opponent until they slip up and then coming in for the big hits. While she does have a number of knockouts under her belt, she's best known for winning via technical knockout (TKO), beating her opponents down to where they simply aren't able to continue.

The fact that the term matches her initials is not a coincidence. :p
