Nothing too terribly fancy here, just a digital render of a sword design for my OC, Willexis Rennar.

The 変更剣 Henkouken, or "Transformation Blade," is Will's weapon of choice and, as the name implies, transformation device; whirling the tip of the blade overhead produces a pair of magic circles, one overhead and one at his feet. Swinging the blade down slams the upper into the lower, releasing a swirl of energy that summons his battle armor. Aside from that, it simply serves as a weapon, styled after a Chinese Tai Chi sword. It's long enough to qualify as a two-hander, but he typically wields it with one.

The weapon itself is 37 inches in length total, with the blade measuring 25.5 inches. The sheath can be locked onto the blade via the six slots in the guard (three on either side) to allow for a less lethal weapon if the need arises.

UPDATE: The design's been tweaked a bit (the blade's been shortened significantly due to personal visual tastes and balance issues), plus now a side view is available.
