FurAffinity VS Inkbunny VS Weasyl

Hello my new watchers!

I was gonna make FA my #1 hub for all my gay furry ladies but then I heard about Weasyl and I spent a good amount of time trying to figure out whether or not to ditch FA and just migrate everything to Weasyl. After some thinking, here's my opinion:

FurAffinity: The great thing about FA is the HUGE audience it has there. FA has power in it's numbers. If you want access to the biggest audience and gain the most traffic, FA is where it's at. However, the major weak point of FA is that it's system is buggy, can have major downtimes, and I'm not too confident about FA's security. When FA has technical issues that damage the site, I'm not surprised considering how the coders and tech folk working at FA aren't really all that passionate and dedicated. Not to mention, design wise, FA is the worst of the three.

What I'm gonna do with FA: Keep my account here because of the amount of users it has.

Inkbunny: Lovely design, much more intuitive, organized, and cared for than FA. The only problem I have is that it doesn't allow for much customization on the user pages, lacks the audience power that FA has, and it's tagging system is very picky and annoying.

What I did with Inkbunny: I had an account there but in the end, I got rid of it and decided to just stay with FA. Don't get me wrong, Inkbunny is a wonderful art host but in the end, I decided to simplify and dedicate more of my time running just one account. If you want to get more people to watch you, I definitely recommend getting an account at both FA and Inkbunny.

Weasyl: A newcomer to the art hosting competition, the crew behind Weasyl are dedicated to serving their users and are eager to make their site better while undertaking constructive criticism and suggestions. I'm very impressed by Weasyl's entrepreneurs as they are truly passionate and dedicated in improving their product. Their website is pretty neat and clean but not as nice as Inkbunny's. They allow slight user profile customization and by that I mean you can put a custom banner into your profile page. I think if Weasyl could make a few design changes to their site, it would work out better for artists. But change is slow and requires a lot of trial so Weasyl needs some time.

What I'm gonna do with Weasyl: I made an account at Weasyl as a backup in case FA shuts down. What made me wanna join Weasyl is that the Weasyl team takes their work very seriously and are truly interested in making something that serves the artists. I'm hoping that over time, Weasyl will become a host that will trump FA in every way (which shouldn't be too hard since they already did in submissions, controls and settings).

That's all folks! Just my opinion. Feel free to disagree. On another note, I'll add that while I'm making Weasyl as my backup, you can do the same exact thing on Inkbunny.

-rubs her butt on your page-
Are you still active on Weasyl? :o

yes I am! Ha ha, Sorry about the absence, but I still have the mock ups of your request if you want me to show it to you. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable by asking for your email and I think it's much better if I post the rough drafts on my photobucket so you can view it.
