Autumn is one of my favorite seasons of all, and probably would be my absolute favorite over winter if it lasted longer in my area. The bright colors of leaves, the chill in the air enough to be comfortable in almost anything without being so cold that everyone feels the need to flee inside, the crisp night sky, and...pumpkin spice (yes, yes, I know) are all such wonderful things to me! Miyuki, too, adores the season, and wanted to get a chance to enjoy the outdoors while the time was right. While on her walk she needed to rest, with the added weight of the precious cargo she's carrying around, and so takes a moment to catch her breath and soak in the colors and the earthy scent of fallen leaves.
