Nae and the [mantidfly girl] CafeOffender gifted me!
She is an ordinary yuujo, a prostitute (not a high class courtesan, oiran). Nae is, as you know, a maiko, an apprentice geisha. They pick on each other a lot of the time, but deep inside, they understand each other’s woes. It’s not easy. Sometimes the clients are monsters.
I still don’t have a name for her, but I’ve been calling her “Ajisai” (hydrangea). We’ll see!
