I must say the he reminds me of actual "garuda" illustrations from Indonesia more than India (several areas, notably Bali, have Hindu cultures and share features while being different)

That is beautiful! I especially love the way you drew the folds in his clothing. ;w; They can be so hard sometimes to get to look nice and flowing, but you did an excellent job, there's great movement here. :D
