A sudden attack, an enemy empowered by greed. What had been a calm, quiet night, had now been turned into a night of terror and needless bloodshed. Enraged, Dema tried to balance her main priority of protecting Nae, and the unavoidable task of fighting the unexpected foe.

Snow, falling gently at first, now a raging storm; tears, caused by pain that should never have been; blood, tainting the pure whiteness of the snow.

"This is not the end... we will get through this..."

But happy endings... do they not only exist in fairy tales...? The fate of the two remains unknown.

A commission for   svarta-perlan! We're both fans of tragedy, and when she suggested a tragic scene with Dema and Nae for the theme of her next commission... I couldn't say 'no'!
