Head of the Asazaki house, Asami is a very strict and demanding businesswoman, bitter in nature and rarely displaying any contentment. Despite the wounded leg, this old cockroach takes care of her house with with iron fist, dealing with all of its business. Everything from buying new clothes and food, to dealing with clients and scheduling the purchases' work hours remain under her control.

She places her bets on Nae and Tetsuo in the hopes of finally getting comfortable and worry-free retirement.
