Miska: "Oy, Saa, wanna hang out? The sun is SUPERDUPERHOT, it'll be awesome!"
Saa: "Uh.. I-I'm not sure about it, Mis-"
Miska: "Pfft, baloney! The DAY is BEAUTIFUL toDAY."

Some shruggy pushiness over the photophobic mantid later, the duo ended up under a parasol - Saa under her veil, Miska under no impression nor clue.

Miska: "Now let's build a fort. No, let's build a sand beast, I know you like those."
Saa: "I can't, Miska, I'm sorry. The sun burns me. But I'll watch you fro-"
Miska: "Don't worry, I got this." - Saa looks confused. - "Just take those blankets off and lay there."
Saa: "I told you, my friend, the Su-"
Miska: "Yeah, yeah, I know. I got this! Stay still, I'll be right back!"

Puzzled, Saa did as told. Concerned, but under the safety of the parasol, she watched laying on her front as the very air danced in the realms of the blazing sand. The shadow shelter framing her safe zone and gently wiggling. Any luff of wind could now end shattering that parasol and that wouldn't be good. Nuh uh.
Fortunately, it didn't take long for a tailed shadow to approach the isled mantis. It seemed pretty big. Double the size of...

Saa: "Miska?" - The Mantis asked, turning her head. Big mistake.
