this character has existed for years but i never bothered to give her canon colors or even draw a clean picture of her. it's weird when you realize that about a character even though they live in your head and you can easily imagine them. shrug

Dime is a fire elemental who takes on the appearance of a very tall (7 feet in fact) goat with shaggy red fur. She spent a long time bouncing from place to place, after being summoned to the mortal realm and getting stuck there. Being extremely powerful and magical, many would try to manipulate her to exploit her for their own gain. Often, they would find themselves burned to cinders instead.
Unfortunate accidents happen around Dime, resulting in loss of life and limb. Wracked with guilt over these incidences, Dime hid herself away in a wrought iron lamp and pretended to be a cursed object for many long years. She was stolen, sold, and traded among bandits and collectors as a magical cursed lamp until Nickel found her one day in a treasure room. Impressed at a lamp's ability to speak like a person, Nickel made off with her in the lamp and they became fast friends. Dime only left the lamp years later when she finally felt like she could be herself. It was quite startling for Nickel, especially considering she is over twice his height.
Dime's actual name is a mystery, and it's unknown whether she ever had a name to begin with. She doesn't like to talk about it. Her name was a gift from her friend Nickel, who was the first being she encountered in the mortal world who didn't seem to care at all about her power and treated her like anybody else.
Dime has mentioned in passing that she took the gender "female" upon herself after spending many years with her thoughts in the lamp.
Nickel: "Oh, you're trans too?"
Dime: "Indeed, small fluff."
