I was going to paint something completely different today, but this image came to mind right before I started painting. It's a sweet little piece and bears (haha!) a level of self-reflection.

It has been a long couple of weeks but as I drove my car home from the mechanic this morning I couldn't help but hum "Singing In The Rain." Perhaps that moment is what later made me see this painting in my minds eye.

I'm actually rather happy with this one. There is almost always something that I end up hating about a piece, this is one of the exceptions. Overall, I'm happy with how it turned out.
