It wasn't until she submerged herself beneath the soapy water that she realised just how round she'd gotten during the past six months. Her belly rose and fell before her eyes, as fat as the world, obscuring all beyond it. She enjoyed having an excuse to be as round as a barrel and to watch the numbers rise on the scale as her belly gradually outgrew her toes, and she would have twelve more weeks of growing bigger and heavier to enjoy. For now, her only concern would be getting out of the hot tub without straining something.
