Also called the Painted Coatl, Tufteds prefer to live in the old-growth tropical forests of the Mir Belt where there are trees large enough to support their small colonies.

As with most Coatl races, the sexes are similar with females being a tiny bit bigger on some occasions, but not all.

They are largely frugivorous though will also take small animals, nuts and occasionally leaves.
