In fear, pain, and at a loss, I have walked this nightmare world for what? A promise? I feel I have lost so much, and I know not if I will ever make it home alive, but I have to keep going. Because I made promises, because I live to mend that which is broken, and because when I looked for hope for myself I realized I was not the one who needed it most. For my children, for Karesinda, and for Mina, I must be the last thing here. All the evils unleashed around me, I feel as though I am in Pandora's box, so I must be that which remains: hope.

This is an image inspired from a game I have been involved in with my android Ember, some very high tech folks, many mysteries, and a few AIs that make her formidable abilities seem insignificant. That's not going to stop her from keeping a promise and doing what she does best: care for others.
