Tribute

I did this a couple years ago in tribute to the animals that were released and shot and killed in the Zainsville animal shootings in Ohio. It was a really tedious art piece and I got busy, so it was sort of left unfinished. I may still finish it, or perhaps leave it as it is as their lives were unfinished. If I do finish it I will most likely make this as a print for shirts and bags.

Aw. it's got a rather sad story behind it. I wasn't aware of the Zainsville shootings '-' It's rather nice that you tried to make something for them though.

Yea I actually cried when I read about that and it was so close to home. Mainly because stupid rednecks were all excited that they got to go shoot wild animals. I wouldn't think that would be something to cheer over. Their stupid owner just released them and committed suicide and they just did what any animal would do.. it was unfair.

Awesome piece with a meaningful origin. I actually kinda see it as complete, even though it's unfinished. Looks like it just 'works' that way.

Thank you! Yea I like this version but if I decide to make prints I may do a completed version just for that as this one may be hard to do as shirts or bags. I may even figure out where and donate a percentage of proceeds to an organization for these types of animals

I remember reading about this, nice tribute. And eh, the only person that can really be blamed was the bastard who thought it would be funny to throw all the gates open and then off himself. The police did the best they could given the circumstances but even some of them thought it was a tragic waste. Still, the animals were released near people's homes... a bad situation could have become much worse.

Very true, it is just sad in general I know Jack Hannah was very upset and was involved as best as he could to help. Thanks for the comment and I'm glad you like my picture!

        Not a problem.

For some odd reason, I can't actually view it. The image just doesn't show up at all, as if there is nothing there.
