[Poem] Sleep of Reason by Vosyl

[Poem] Sleep of Reason

Goya once remarked,
how monsters are made.
With Reason having slept,
Our worries come alive
with horrors came and leapt,
having run to take a dive
from the back of our minds.

The Sleep of Reason Produces Monsters
And I have been asleep for a very long time
Flickers of the eye, and thoughts unwanted
to throw off course, to lead astray
they come to guide you to rocky shores.
No light in sight for this dark night
but the walls will hold, so keep tight.
Once the dawn comes, everything will be alright.

Terror creeps back to the sea,
The ghouls vanish, with the sun's glee.
There shadows running short, I bet
morning in your eyes, you survive.
O'torpors' fog that wanted to kept
you down till you were to drown
So rest assured, and safely abide.
