When I tried to become an ecologist a few years ago, I created this character as a personification of the ecological conscience. They’re a genderless Kolibribis (hummingbird-ibis) that likes to criticize environmentally harmful behavior and promotes sustainability. I hardly ever draw birds with hands instead of wings, but it seemed necessary in this case.

This drawing is old and I haven’t drawn this character in ages. But another version of it has been my phone background since March 2014. My phone is now 4 years old and I’m considering getting a new one and drawing a new background. But I don’t really like most of the current phones and I guess I still need a bird that reminds me of some things that cannot be ignored.
