I am a Silversmith! (critique requested)

Volt Siano

I'm taking a jewelry making class for one of my last two electives this semester. It's been stressful at some points, but the results are satisfying! All the jewelry we're making is being made from silver. Here are my second and third projects so far.

The ring on my ring finger - the blackened one - is a wire ring made of two wires of different thicknesses that have been soldered together. A small ball of silver has been soldered on top as an ornament, and I used a special chemical to oxidize the ring itself, causing it to have a blackened look.
The ring on my middle finger - the thick one - is a band ring made from a sheet of silver. We had to cut it out of a plate of silver, then polish it out before bending it around and soldering it shut. I chose to make a wide band, and after getting it into the correct shape, I hammered it with a ball pein hammer, giving a lot of dents. The dents look like scales at first glance, and help to hide the seam where I joined the two ends of the band together.

There are a few more projects we'll be doing this semester, so I'll try to post those as well. Not sure whether I'll continue jewelry-making after this class, but it's still fun to do.
Our first project was just a bunch of different exercises fused together. If you guys want to see it, I can upload a picture of that as well.
