This tail... This blasted tail...

Lemme' tell ya'.
Not only did it take several days to fully sew it, but I had resew it multiple times. The first time, everything was terribly skewed, and the second time the blue stripe down the middle wasn't properly aligned - something I didn't notice until after inverting and stuffing it. Finally, I finished it today, and even though the stripe is still a tiny bit off-center, it's much better than it had been. I suppose that if the buyer requests it, I could remake the tail...
Hand sewn with heavy-duty thread, loosely stuffed with polyfill (can be stuffed stiffly upon request), with white fleece belt loops for attachment.
Oh I forgot to critique! Also, the Premade Fursuit WIP - Completed Head photo had a tiny flaw in it, but it is not bad enough to be noticeable at a close distance. The eyes were slightly angled diagonally, minor mistake, but really it happens to all of us, keep practicing and you'll look back and realize how far you've improved yourself.
Oh! That extra work really paid off! I didn't notice the off-centeredness until you said something and I can only really tell from the head on view. For something that will be moving a lot I don't think it will be an issue.
Is fleece a good choice for the belt loops though? I thought elastic was the go-to. (Or maybe I'm just having flashbacks to my first time working with it not knowing which way to cut the fabric lol.)
Fistpumps
Yes!
I never thought of using elastic as belt loops. I was just looking around my room thinking, "Now what can I make these belt loops out of? What's the best fabric I have on hand?" The fleece does stretch a bit, but I made sure to cut it so that it wouldn't stretch too much and become a problem (can't have that tail twisting around at its base). I suppose the only concern would be whether or not the fabric will break away from the stitching if too much stress is applied, but...
Tests connection between belt loops and tail
...it seems as though it'd take an unusual amount of force to cause that. I suppose the buyer could request such a change if they'd like, but it seems to be working as is.
Looks good. Doing the entire top half one color makes it a lot easier to get both sides even. Triangular shape is nice.
