Serious, contemplative, assertive, confident. All of these are Galaxy Vision’s most noteworthy traits. He usually takes on the roll of leader between himself and Mirror Zone. Galaxy Vision is usually pretty civil and respectful, but Dirge brings out the worst in him. Towards Dirge specifically, he loves to taunt, harass, and otherwise make his life difficult. Galaxy Vision is not entirely above being petty however, and under the right circumstances he can become rather out-spoken and dead set on specific goals that are not always in his and Mirror Zone’s best interest.
Galaxy Vision is rarely ever seen without Mirror Zone. The two consider each other brothers, and are very closely bonded. Both are from different clans/hives formerly. Galaxy Vision’s family were Hellhivers of the Helmethead Horde (military), Swarm Division, before it dissolved--an Overmind and Sentinel, respectively.
His mother was killed by a mindmelt--too much mental strain from being ordered to control too large a hive. His father was sent to his death in the Arena due to his lifemate being ‘responsible’ for the death of a Hive of the Swarm. This was certainly unfair punishment, as the Swarm Superiors were well aware that they were demanding too much, but they surely didn’t desire to take responsibility for it. Per policy however, their kitten, Galaxy Vision, was spared and simply became a stray.
He met another stray named Mirror Zone and the two became inseparable, watching each other's backs and roaming about as Scavengers for years. Scavengers are usually loners, and a good majority of them don't last long, but the duo were smart enough to manage, and wisely, only ever came out of hiding in the least active hours of the night to scavenge.
Once older, they were able to approach a clan in the lowest tier district and were allowed to join. They are fiercely protective of one another and are very rarely seen unaccompanied by the other.
ABILITIES /SKILLS
Opposite to Mirror Zone's abilities, Galaxy Vision can outright just absorb light from the nearby area into the halo like ring that floats behind him. Energy is then stored in the ring to be used for other purposes. This light absorption varies in strength and works best in an area already in the shadows to intensify the pitch. It can be done in broad daylight, but the range only reaches that of an average bedroom is scope and is very obviously unnatural so it's uses are limited.
Light Manipulation
Galaxy Vision can condense light into ultra bright beams used to temporarily blind. These beams of light will emit from one halo ring to the other usually.
Sound Wave Disruption
Galaxy Vision has the ability to emit several different sound frequencies at varying intensities. These typically work by causing great discomfort to the ears and sometimes visual disturbances. If the warning is not heeded though, Galaxy Vision has much more intense outputs that can burst eardrums, and cause extreme vertigo and nausea, as well as great neurological distress.
Psionic Equilibrium Distortion
Basically, causes confusion, disorientation, nausea etc. via various sensory stimuli. Galaxy Vision himself is practically immune to loss of his own equilibrium.
Psionic Image Projection
Alternatively, perception manipulation. Galaxy Vision can distort and manipulate what others around him may see. These projections are not real however, merely illusions, and their effectiveness varies greatly per individual.
