Finally got around to make a proper reference sheet (and name) for my dragons! Up until like yesterday, they still didn't have a name, they were just "my fire dragons" lol. Other possible names included Pyro or Fire instead of Pyre, Astral instead of Celestial, and a few other ideas I didn't bother committing to memory. The Celestial part of the name comes from my world building project's location, the Celestial Archipelago. They otherwise have no real connection to the sky or stars.

Most of the info was perfected or completely thought up during this, but a decent amount is stuff I've had in my head for a bit. There's probably typos and grammar mistakes, but I combed through the text and did what I could. The lineart is the most reused art I have, used it I think 5 or 6 times now? I kept having to expand the canvas size from my typical starting point of 2200x2200 pixels. This is 4133x2770. I also just realized I forgot to put a minor-yet-named dragon on their, Setti's male counterpart Daybreak. Whoops. lastly, i thought briefly about adding species history or lore, but uhhhh they evolved from lizards, they fly uhhh fukkin uhhhhhhhhhhh they spit fire and history is for nerds.

You know, the species has evolved with art style over the years since I started drawing Salamander. The claws used to be more square, the fire didn't surround the tail tip entirely, and they used to have an elbow spike on arm of the wing. They may have also had webbing on the thumb-index connection for the wing, which honestly makes sense. Salamander has evolved by far the most, as he was the only one of his kind until somewhat recently when I was a better, more consistent artist.

As the image states, this is for my own use. I've had I think 2 people ask about having one (or getting turned into one, weirdly), but I don't like that idea. These are my babies.
