So I finished my longfurby, Eventual Heat Death of the Universe. Took a couple weeks of on and off work, but overall I'm kinda proud of him, and the longfurby subreddit seems to like him too! Everything is entirely handmade so he's a bit wonky, but I really love how the eyes came out. He has a spine but it's not very strong so it only really helps when he's propped up a bit or there's something to keep him coiled, like furniture arms. There's also wire in the limbs, but same deal, it's doesn't do all the work on its own. I kinda wanna salvage some velcro and attach it to his beaktip so it can be opened when I need it to, currently it's got a bead of glue keeping it shut because turns out attaching it straight to felt means it hangs open with no rigidity.
Half followed a guide, half winged it. Already had some experience from my little noodley boy I posted a couple weeks back.
