As it turns out, the monitor I have my browser on is way too dark, so basically anything I do involving low light scenes or dark palettes shows up as hard to see. Now I know this.

Griffon is a bit of a jerk, not very social, and all around comes off as a grump. But deep down, like WAY deep down, under miles and miles of unsocialness, he can be an alright guy. Key word being CAN. Other than Sala and Skulla, one of the only non-aliens he's warm towards is Ciioh, a bird chimaera. Because she's basically the only other avian-type creature for him to interact with, he connects with her on a special level that he finds hard to see in others.

He's big and strong and doesn't mind the rain, but he wants to make sure Ciioh isn't getting soaking wet and chilly. Not that he'd acknowledge he's doing it out the goodness of his heart. Also, this is a good chance to show how big Griffon's feral form is compared to a normal-sized person. Ciioh's a little under 6 feet tall.
