A little nostalgia

Vixthefox

Given that I've been on Linux for a while, I've switched over from CSP to Krita, but I got curious and drew a taur in GIMP to see how much it's changed since or at leas how different it is in Linux as to how I knew it in Windows. When I started drawing I went on a search for a bunch of different programs to draw with. I couldn't really pay for a license for PS, Corel, or Sai, and for the while I was too lazy to well...you know. So I resorted to GIMP since the bundled PhotoImpact with my cheap Genius F610 was terrible to use. Before getting to Sai it was all with GIMP after figuring out how to keep colors in lines. Eventually I moved over to FireAlpaca and then Sai, then from Sai I bought a license for CSP and finally got to Krita once I got the hang of it. But I went over back to GIMP just to see how it'd be now that I have a better drawing style. I do have to say, it's a little finnicky at least with the workflow I like to use. Maybe if I practiced with it or took the time to find the right usage would help (i mean, I had to look for the setting to activate pressure sensitivity...) But I think I'll stick to Krita for the time being, although maybe I'll consider using this once in a while.

I have to say it did bring back some memories using it. :3
