I am a scientist, bookworm, and a bit of a computer geek, but I am very well-rounded and (perhaps surprisingly, given the stereotype) not all that socially awkward. Instead you'll find that I am easygoing, witty, and a lot of fun to hang out with. Or so my friends tell me. Usually under duress. But whatever. :p
I consider myself to be an intellectual, but I don't take myself too seriously. I can be a little introverted, but I enjoy meeting new people, and I try to make sure the people I am with are having a good time, which I accomplish through a combination of wordplay, self-deprecating jokes, sheer force of will, and my pleasant disposition. Personality wise, I straddle the line between being an INTJ and ENTJ.
I enjoy the company of those who are fairly smart, intellectually curious, and who have a good sense of humor. I enjoy travel, dining out, seeing movies, taking long walks, running, playing tennis, attending book readings, traveling, playing the occasional video or computer game, and having techno-geeky conversations. I am also open to suggestions, and I love trying new things.
My fursona is a Border Collie who goes by Viro the Science Dog. Like me, He's a 25-year-old English / Virology mutt: currently a PhD candidate in molecular virology, but formerly an English major, writing tutor, and copy chief, so fairly well-rounded. He dabbles in writing furry fiction (see SoFurry) and enjoys editing, which he is much, much better at. ^.^
Like most collies, he fetches sticks, plays with balls, and is very agile. *slywags*
Viro can be spotted at many furry cons, including RainFurrest, FurFright, Midwest FurFest, and Anthrocon.
Mated to the one-and-only all-dancing, city-dwelling vulpine, Koji Fox. <3
