A note before I continue: All my ponies were created for a Generation 1-based fandom. Nothing against FiM, I just prefer the ponies from the 80's, as that was my childhood.

I made up my own Tropical Pony, and this is her. (the adult, anyway...will get to her baby in a minute) Hasbro made 4 tropical ponies in their first run (G1's). I decided that one of my characters would be another of these tropical ponies. Her name is Tropical Sunset, and she's a yellow peg with a two-toned green mane and tail, and a sunset on a tropical beach with palm trees as a symbol.

Her foal looks completely different, as she's half mortal (ie. 'normal pony from Earth') Her name is Freedom. (No, not THAT Freedom...=P Completely different character, developed at a different time.) She's basically a leopard appaloosa, in MLP form.

Shortened version of the story goes, Freedom's mother was over the Rainbow at some point, fell in love with a 'real' pony, and had to be helped back over the Rainbow (due to pregnancy) so that she wouldn't die from too long a time away from the magic of Prisma (my version of Ponyland). Freedom was born at the moment a villain was defeated during part of my story, and that's why she was given that name.
