Camera Control Test [MUGEN]

VinVulpis

So, I was looking into how mini-game and multiple enemy things are made in MUGEN and started workin on some mechanics of my own to work well with the characters I'm making.

Part of what I aspire to turn this project into is a sort of "adventure" with unique beat'em up stages, as well as your standard 1v1s.

I took a look at the Rox Howard Clones and thought it would be a great start to experiment with control mechanics before I make my own full beat'em up challenges.

Since Jeibu (and all future characters I make) have free-turning - being able to look any way they want - the clones were a great test subject for testing combat capabilities as well.

I made slight modifications to the Clones adding in the camera control, and modifying the number that show up each round. (I also tweeked the damage on "Da Beam" cuz daaaaaamn that thing wrecks you and you can't air guard it.)

The camera is being controlled by two helper-type ojects generated by the Clones chara, that push the camera in the direction the player is facing.

This video also sports the Lifebar system I'm workin on too as well as the VERY unfinished Lantern Beach Stage I'm workin on.

Jeibu's still missing some animation updates. Older frames and some state animations not finished yet. Some attacks are still dummied up as well.

So, it's nothing too special yet, but it's a little test preview of more work I plan to do with this.

It's too bad Elecbyte seems to have disappeared again. What a bag of butts. Oh well, I just keep doin what I can!
