A lil animation I did to get myself acquainted to workin in Aesprite, which I'm moving to for character animations. I'm just wrapping up a few last projects I have in Fireworks and axing it, especially since Adobe don't support it anymore.

I wanna make a MUGEN character of this. I have plenty of ideas and would make him extremely annoying, like in the linked video. He's fit right into the universal mechanics I have built for my work. His air-dash would be a melee air-dodge, and the wavedash will work accordingly. I'd make him
YES, if I go ahead with this, I will record various controller sounds for it (the running, shielding, air-dodging and such). His basic walk would be a full blown run with loud controller stick clicks each time the run is started. My characters first have to do a 4 frame turn before they can move in the other direction, but for Fox, I'd just axe that and have him instantly zip in the other direction. I'd also get rid of the momentum drag from him, so no acceleration/deceleration for running/turning.
Also, no, this isn't that other character I was keeping secret for now. I have a special planned introduction for him with another character.
I wasn't planning to prioritize this idea, so no promises on big updates for it yet. If there's a big demand for it, maybe.My main goal was to get myself used to a new program with this for now.
