Evangeline dressed in yet another stage costume homage. She is wearing the dress her namesake, Peter Gabriel, wears in the incredibly rare and classic Musical Box performance on BATACLAN. He was wearing a mask with the dress to look like the fox woman on the cover of Genesis' album Foxtrot. This performance was especially unique because Gabriel tended to dress as an old man for this song. The fox costume was usually reserved for songs from the album that immortalized it as an icon. The most notable discrepancy in this image is that Evangeline has the appearance of a tiger rather than a fox.

The reason that this whole idea, and the naming of Eva for Peter, is that he was one of the pioneers of self-aware maturity in anthropomorphics. Other examples being the Beatles and the original presentation of The Cunning Little Vixen. I have a theory that Gabriel wore this in the context of The Musical Box to remind us of the theme from the original Cunning Little Vixen opera about the cycle of life and unrequited love for that which you cannot possess, being the original writers (Leoš Janáček) pining for a married woman. Particularly, in this case, the distance between generations in terms of romance. Though, the true inspiration for the Foxtrot album cover was Jimi Hendrix's song Foxey Lady. This is kinda neat because Hendrix is another influence on Evangeline.
