Halloween 2012: vampire vs. werewolf.

A scene from the Nanowrimo novel I'm attempting this year.

I started this a looong time ago and put it aside because I just couldn't get it right. I'm pretty happy with it now. One aspect I particularly like is that the werewolf isn't showing his fangs and snarling, which would be the typical thing to draw. Instead, he's got a fixed glare and his lips are compressed into a hard line, the expression a dominant chimp (or human) uses against a rival they don't feel particularly threatened by. He's not angry at that stupid vampire, he's disgusted and fed up. My werewolves are carnivorous primates and not overgrown doggies, so it makes sense in-universe.
