We are not always beautiful
We are not always kempt and clean
We are far from staying fruitful
We are not beyond what we seem

Crimson so unforgivable
Each second stains are soaking in
It streams dark, inexcusable
This burning pain is wearing thin

Bloody eye. No light. Bloody eye
Blink to let my burdens go free
Bloody eye. No sight. Bloody eye
Cleanse this pain. Get it out of me

I wrote a poem. Since RTFs are just too good for Weasyl I decided not to bother with getting it to TXT format. The drawing came first anyway...

That is a really good poem. The first part is my favorite, but I do enjoy the bloody eye repetition in the third.
"We are not beyond what we seem" is my favorite line.
