As much as I love RPing and as excited as I am to get back into doing it... maaayyybe it wasn't the best idea. Or at least, the timing was absolute shit in this case. It's addicting as fuck and now I've ended up never wanting to stop, but unfortunately my RP partner has a very legitimately good reason for not replying consistently for the past and next week, so I 'm trying to be patient. It's just frustrating as Hell and I generally don't feel like doing anything else, so after several consecutive instances of obsessively refreshing my Tumblr dash while she's online hoping for a reply and then never getting one, I kinda just temporarily give up and force myself to do something else. Like this, for example.

The main thing that bothers me is it feels like the RP is stuck in one spot with nothing happening whatsoever and I want something to happen but I know it probably won't for the next several days and just... Why do days have to be so long???

I'm considering never RPing again after this one just to prevent this situation from happening again. And if I do, next time I'm definitely warning my partner that I go nuckin' futs when I don't get a reply after more than about a day, unless it's not a fun RP. I didn't used to have this problem because my previous partners would reply fairly quickly and consistently, so I didn't realize how much this would bother me.

But in this case I can't rush my RP partner or keep sending her reminders or anything because she has a good reason not to even bother with the RP so it's like :'3

I just really hope this is resolved once this week is over.
