So about 2 weeks ago I was linked to this wolf character creator made by onetrickwolf (link: http://onetrickwolf.deviantart.com/art/BBA-Character-Creator-150892596 ) by a few friends of mine to create a wolf character just for fun, a meme sort of. But after creating her and naming her I started to go into more depth with her, and now I like her and have decided to keep her as a actual character of mine.

So - everyone - meet Vynja Njordentassar, the black wolf of Gotland, Sweden. She resides deep within the Lummelunda Caverns and is a ancient myth told by the locals. She's a feral scandinavian wolf whom I decided to color-theme after myself.

How I came up with the name is a interesting story. Since I'm named Valcyrie, a "englified" version of the swedish Valkyria, I wanted a name associated with that. So I saw before my eyes a female warrior dressed in chainmail, in swedish called ringbrynja (ringmail) or brynja for short. And then the crossover between the two, Vynja, just came into my head. As for the last name, first I chose "Nordentass" (Northern/Nordic Paw) but it didnt feel right, and I wanted a more pagan/viking sound to it. So as I am a seadragon and loves fish, I got to think of Njord, the norse god of the sea, and then changing tass (paw) to tassar (paws) I got a nice twist to it. So there it was, Njordentassar.

However since I always am myself even in RPs I'm not entirely sure of what to make of her yet except use her as a sidekick or a character in a story sometime, but I hold her dear and want to keep her close. She's my snuggly little fluffy favourite :3
