Giran was asked to watch over a baby Barroth together with Verim. The baby barroth needed to be weighted and to have an accurate result Giran washed the barroth clean from mud.
When he came back with the scale, both the barroth and Verim were nowhere to be seen. He found them again in a mud puddle.
