Alumimum Overcast nose art. B-17g bomber.
Playing with HDR. I'm still not comfortable with HDR. It's too cartoony for my taste, kind of the Black Velvet Elvis of photographic space.

    That thing is a beast

    "kind of the Black Velvet Elvis of photographic space" a lot of them are. They look cheap to me. But sometimes its done really well and the colors are amazing.

      Yeah, I met a vet who was also visiting the plane. He had been a gunner on the 17's (not this one) and the 22's. He had 23 missions over Germany and later Japan.

        I had a great uncle who few 17's, 24's in WWII. Then would fiery B29's, and later B47's and eventually 52's from one base to another. He also few bombing missions in Korea, and Vietnam.
