I just created a new character. Henry becomes friends with an almost-identical stranger who came from near the Rockies named Peter. For those who wonder why Peter has no tail is because he's neither a hamster nor a rodent - he's a lagamorph called a pika. Henry uses Peter to fill in for him because of a doctor's appointment he had to go to. As part of the plot, Henry gives Peter a fake tail to try to get his friends to not notice it isn't Henry. After discovering Peter's tail isn't real, Henry's friends think the ears are fake, too, and Peter confesses that the tail is fake but the ears are real.
