i like how basically all i have to share lately is refined sketches that have been worked on and off for several months lol
anyways Leda, the space dragon. she hasnt got a mean bone in her body, hell she probably doesnt even have bones at all. leda is a nice fella, her size and shape is somewhat variable but she generally stays consistent.
shes made of the stuff of stars, and her slightly luminescent skin has a pleasant, soft feel to it. not quite warm, not quite cool, but Nice. its also relatively elastic with a lot of give. areas where the skin is bunched and thicker reveal its light milky colors, however where the skin is pulled taught reveals its translucent quality and you can see through to her inner spacy makeup. her innards and tummy i dont really…have words for to describe it? but it is also Nice
shes essentially just a big friendly space marshmallow who can do no wrong which is utterly delightful and out of character for me since i seem to gravitate towards creating outright monstrous and lethal characters lmao

Wow, this is most definitely one of cutest character designs I have ever seen! The description fits so well with the drawings. Is she able to expand her wings as well? Since they're only "unfolded" in the top drawing and small in the other ones.

tbh the wings can be drawn in any of the ways shown here and probably more, it generally doesnt matter since her form is not entirely solid

She looks like such an amazing character. Like. Just so very relaxing and feel good. I have a space creature too, who's filled with star dust cos that's what they eat. But they're very vain and snobby and fickle.

I remember seeing this character on your tumblr a few years back and only just found them again now. The silhouette and transparency effects are amazing! I know you haven't put any description to the feel of their internals but I imagine it would feel like the floatey rocking sensation you get just before you fall asleep.
