Utunu Backstory (WIP) - Chapter 1 - Solstice by Utunu (critique requested)
So, I'm in the process of writing a story! Utunu's backstory, in fact. I posted this piece over to FA a while ago, but have been updating my Weasyl and figured I'd put it over here too. :)
Now, be forewarned, I'm new at this. This is the first real attempt at writing for me for, oh, about 30 years. Because of that, I really would love comments and feedback on it! That way I can determine if I'm going in the right direction and whether it's a story that people would like to hear more of.
I know a lot of folks just look at art; but if you're interested in Utunu (a young Utunu, in this story!) as a character, please give it a read and tell me what you think!

Ah, awesome! Really glad you liked it. :) I have another chapter which I'll post shortly; definitely need to sit down and get to writing more though, it's been a slow process.

I try to write (at least a little ) every day, and I'm still super slow! At least the quality is improving...I hope :)

Also this is filled with a whole lot of just really good storytelling! Sounds like there's some fun about to be had, and that was a really nice ending that made me smile, a lot x3

I liked it very much! Sets up an interesting and believable world and characters, with vivid descriptions and convincing dialogue. Looking forward to more!
