Laya'zere grabbed Ada'ven (datUragiBoi) when her second sight went off, detecting the arcanic change in the crowd, pulling him behind one of the larger stone shops in the square, yanking him up by his throat guard and pushing him up against the wall. She saved him from dying, that's for sure. The Qudaan will not tolerate someone of a different subrace causing issues in their city. This is just one example of how much larger some subraces are than others, the Phenx barely can peek behind Laya's hips.
