Before the events of EotFF and even a few chapter into said story, Ace used to cover his prosthetic paw with not just a glove, but also a silicone covering with false yellow fur fused into it to make it look and feel more "natural". It also of course had a lot more hydrolic fluid in it than his newer model (some may recall his original prosthetic got blasted off toward the end of EotFF, hence it needing to be replaced later), so any time the silicone cover or the mechanism itself got damaged, this blue liquid would splatter everywhere almost like blood. THIS of course lead to MANY fun opportunities for Ace to introduce himself to new Pokémon he met as a "cybohneteek ohganeezehm" just to freak them out.
