Aiko the Dancer

Fox fire fly about, dancing and singing with Aiko in the middle. She can be seen at almost any festival, dancing and performing magic tricks. If the people treat her well, she leaves behind some fox fires, that guard their homes for misfortunes. If mistreated in any way, she chases them off with illusions of terrible beast.

One night during a raging storm, she was trapped under a fallen tree. A mortal stumbled upon her and braved through the storm with her in his arm. At his home he tended to her getting whatever she needed. Grateful to the mortal she became his partner, living and protecting him.
