The story of how Emily came to be today is one hidden in the mists of time. Even if you asked her she'd likely answer with a metaphore unless you had a specific clue to refer to. Emily has an intricate backstory, but the only one who truly knows it all is herself, not even her mum knows all the details, but there's hints and clues scattered about and more will be revealed through artwork as time goes on.

I always intended Emily's story to be either discovered by someone by piecing the clues and making guesses or for someone to discover as they play and entwine their own stories with hers.

This piece is a picture from Emily's past, before she went off to become a soldier, saying good bye to her mum and promising that "Ah'ma make ya proud Mommy...".

I plan to fully shade this piece once I have time to do so, add background and maybe even additional effects beyond that.
