Zett, the Castaway King by UdakiiArchives

Zett, the Castaway King

UdakiiArchives

After usurping his father and becoming king, Zett'elek did a lot of good for his people. brought them from slavery, made allies with other kingdoms, and helped strengthen their infrastructure. But no matter how much good he can do, there is one thing that prevents him from the love of his people; his cursed blood. because of this, he couldn't be king for long, his people wanted him gone, and with the birth of his obviously cursed son it only made their worries more concrete. so he stepped down from his rule, rather unceremoniously, and made a new life outside his kingdom, living as a hermit monk with his husband and child, focusing all his time on honing his magic, studying on history, and even writing Stage plays that he would soon publish.

he was hated in the public eye. and he was okay with that.
