I actually had a totally different beginning to this comic. The dragon character here was going to be a sympathetic character, but then I had a better idea. Oh, yeah, now I remember why it takes place in China. I wanted to incorporate my dragonized version of David Lopan from Big Trouble in Little China, because I love that movie, though the main evil dragon in this cartoon is actually his father. David is just a teen age dragon a mere 200 years old or so. So it had to be China for that reason. These two are also the ancestors to Zenyatta LoPan. As a story writer I felt compelled to include this information. It's relative to the plot. I swear.
