This is a special commission that is near and dear to my heart.

Commissioned by Namarie D., this image is in support of her brother-in-law - a transman who is feeling very down due to the current US administration's ruling on transgender people in the military. The quote is hers, and attributed as such.

I enjoyed the opportunity to showcase the four uniforms of the United States Military's primary branches (from left to right) - Air Force (bear), Navy (fox), Marines (dog), and Army (cat). And the simple color schemes of each character is meant to be evocative of their genders/sexual identities, and of course species is a bit evocative of race.

All in all, as a transman myself, this subject matter was very nice to get a chance to illustrate, and I thank my Patron for the opportunity.
