I've finally finished this piece, oh boy!
An illustration with my OCs, Aisha and Laeth. :>
Since these are characters for a personal project (and people who have followed me over the years probably saw how they've evolved over time), I've worked on this piece bit by bit for around 2-3 months? I like leaving more complicated art pieces for a few days before I return to them again, just so I'd look at everything with fresh eyes.
This is the most complicated piece I've done with the two, I draw their outfits way simpler than this, I just took this as an opportunity to show them lotsa love since I've neglected them for the longest time. The most tedious part of this whole thing was painting the background, I didn't want anything too complicated for it, since I wanted these two to be the main focus, but it still took me a while to draw out the waves and island in the back. (I'm aware I don't draw backgrounds enough so at one point I'll dedicate a month or so to mostly drawing/painting backgrounds)
I plan on making and posting mini comics and more fleshed out comics with these two at some point. :>
